WINTER SKIN CARE TIPS: Don't forget to wear your sunblock and sunscreen, even in these short light days.  Reflected sunlight can be very strong, especially when on the snow.  We recommend you apply sunscreen just as you would in the summer. Have you noticed that your skin seems to be drier in the winter?  Well, it's true!  The extra drying effect of our heated homes in winter and the generally lower humidity in the atmosphere results in drier skin.  Be sure to apply body and face moisturizer  when your skin is still damp.  When you step out of the shower or bath, do not completely dry your skin before slathering on the moisturizer.  We also recommend, for an extra hydrating boost,  apply a thick layer of moisturizer before going to bed and covering up with full leg and arm pajamas - and wearing socks over  feet smeared with petroleum jelly.  You'll find your skin will have an enhanced softness the next day. We strongly recommend an intensive Vitamin C treatment for your face at least once a week and after spending the day out in the glorious Colorado outdoors!  Our excellent Vitamin C conditioner is the perfect product for this treatment. Vitamin C provides intensive healing and moisturizing for stressed skin.
