Skin Tips for July - Focus on Men's Skin Health

Men and Skin Cancer: Up until age 40, more women develop melanoma than men. After age 40, significantly more men develop melanoma. Overall, one in 35 men and one in 54 women will develop melanoma in their lifetimes. After age 50, most melanoma cancers diagnosed are in Caucasian men over the age of 50. We encourage our male patients to wear sunscreen every day.

How do I get my resistant husband to take better care of his skin?

Male clients may not understand the importance and benefit of a daily skin care regimen.  A simple 3 step regimen is a good start.
